These Terms and Conditions describe the rules for using Stats Beaver websites, account tools, registration, dashboards, and related services. By creating an account, registering a team site, or using Stats Beaver, you agree to these terms.

Accounts and Access

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for activity that happens through your account. Team-site administrators should only grant access to people authorized to manage that team.

Team Data

Stats Beaver is designed to organize team information such as roster details, schedules, game events, statistics, and site settings. You confirm that you have the right to submit and manage the information you provide.

Acceptable Use

• Do not use Stats Beaver for unlawful, abusive, misleading, or harmful activity.
• Do not attempt to interfere with, bypass, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
• Do not upload or publish content that infringes another person's rights.

Availability and Changes

Stats Beaver may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features over time. We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

Plans, Advertising, Payments, and Trials

Unless displayed otherwise during registration, new team sites are created on the Free plan. Each owner account may have one active Free team site. Every additional active site requires its own Plus or Pro plan; shared sites and eligible paid-season archives do not count toward that limit. Free covers the current season only and does not include a prior-season archive. A Free season must be upgraded before the next season is started if the owner wants to preserve it. A completed Plus season retains read-only team pages and Game Review, while a completed Pro season also retains read-only Analytics access. Any Game Review frames, clips, captions, and annotations saved while Plus or Pro was active are permanently deleted two years after a site is archived. Other archived site data is retained on an indefinite, read-only basis unless the administrator requests removal, these Terms require removal, or applicable law requires otherwise. Account-protected pages on Free plan sites may display house or third-party advertising served by Stats Beaver after the site meets designated activity requirements. Stats Beaver will provide reasonable advance notice before third-party advertising is introduced to existing Free plan sites.

Stats Beaver offers Free, Plus, and Pro plans. “Ad-free” means that Stats Beaver does not serve advertising on an active Plus or Pro team site. Plus costs $39 CAD per team site per year and Pro costs $129 CAD per team site per year, plus applicable GST/HST. New team sites registered before October 1, 2026 may receive their first Pro year for the promotional price of $99 CAD; the regular Pro price applies after that promotional term. Stripe securely processes payments and provides receipts, invoices, payment-method updates, and subscription management.

Paid plans renew automatically each year until canceled. The original purchase date establishes the annual renewal date, which may fall during a hockey season and is not reset when a new season starts. When a paid team starts its next season, its active subscription and renewal date continue on the new seasonal site while the completed season retains the archive access earned by its Plus or Pro tier. A Plus-to-Pro upgrade takes effect after Stripe successfully charges the prorated difference for the remainder of the paid period; unused Plus time is credited and the renewal date remains unchanged. You may cancel through Account > Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term, and paid features remain available until then. A Pro-to-Plus downgrade also takes effect at the next renewal date and may be withdrawn before renewal by choosing Keep Pro. Any refund rights or exceptions shown at purchase or required by law continue to apply. Access to current-season paid features may be limited when payment is incomplete, past due, disputed, refunded, or when the paid term ends; previously earned paid-season archive access remains read-only.

Limitation of Liability

Stats Beaver is provided as a team-management and analytics tool. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stats Beaver is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions made from statistics or reports generated by the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, if required by law, or if continued access would create risk for Stats Beaver, users, teams, or service providers.

Privacy

Use of Stats Beaver is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, and protected.
